!RESTART¶
Specifies input and output of restart data.
Parameters¶
FREQUENCY = n :Output step interval (default: 0)
n > 0 :Output every n steps
n < 0 :First read the restart data file, then output every |n| steps
Notes¶
- In static analysis and time-history dynamic analysis, restart position is restored by distinguishing output during a substep from output at the end of a step.
- In dynamic analysis, the restart data stores dynamic state including the current step, substep, cumulative substep, current time, time increment, velocity, and acceleration.
- When restarting an analysis that uses multiple
!STEPentries, remove completed!STEPentries from the cnt file used for restart, and describe the analysis starting from the incomplete or unexecuted!STEP.
